Welcome to Advanced Imaging Devices!
Since 1989 AID, with its headquarters in the south-west of Germany, produces and markets diagnostic products, imaging devices and suitable software programs within the wide range of immunology and infectious diseases. One of the the world-wide most used EliSpot readers (AID EliSpot Reader System) was developed and produced by AID. Based on the success of this system we work continuously on the development of further automizable complete solutions within the fields of microbiology, virology and cell biology and offer various robotic systems for high throughput analyses. The newest development is the AID BacSpot Robotic System, a complete solution to analyse up to 200 agar plates per hour, as well as the AID EliSpot Robotic System, the first high throughput analysing system for EliSpot assays worldwide .

Colony counter - Contact plates reader

Colony counter - contact plates reader

Robotic colony counter suitable for high throughput analysing of 60mm contact plates, facilitated by an integrated unique grid-removal algorithm. The system takes up to 100 plates in one run, up to 500 plates can be analysed in one project. Depending on settings up to 150 plates per hour can be screened within one hour.

Colony Counter - Multiple plate reader

Colony counter - multiple plate reader

Single plate colony counter and zone sizer for low to medium throughput labs and for assistance of the robotic colony counters. Plate formats to be analysed  can be various, ranging from 60 mm, 90mm and 150 mm round agar plates to a maximum of 10cm x10cm square agar plates. Analysis time is less than 5 second per plate (incl. user handling), allowing to screen approximately 10 plates per minute.
